Day 7: Your body held the pain until it was safe to release it

Your body is not betraying you; it’s been carrying you. It locked away what you couldn’t face, froze what you couldn’t feel, and stayed silent until it sensed safety.

That tension in your shoulders? Is that fatigue in your bones? That wave of emotion you don’t understand? That’s your body finally saying, “Now, we can let go.”

This isn’t you breaking down. It’s you breaking free.

Every release is a return to presence, to peace, and to power.

What is your body trying to release, and can you meet it with kindness, not control?

Reflection

Your body is brilliant. It stores trauma not to trap you but to protect you until safety is restored. That tightness, that fatigue, that emotional wave, it’s not dysfunction. It’s a delayed release.

Action Step

Take 5 minutes today to do a body check-in. Gently ask: “What do you need right now?” Then honour it.

Journaling Prompt

Where in my body do I feel tension, discomfort, or emotion?

What might that part of me be trying to release or express?
